We open the Falastini Subscription Box ONCE A YEAR for subscribers and that starts TODAY for two weeks only! We have carefully curated our box to share with you the richness of Palestine's crafts(wo)manship and food.
We launched this in December 2023 because so many new artisans were approaching us and asking for support, so this was our small intervention to help generate income for more Palestinian artisans. Each box is different so that more artisans can participate. Photographed here is the first box of 2025 plus a few older boxes.
How it Works: You choose a one time box to receive in March or a quarterly subscription of 4 different boxes, a new box sent every three months.. Your credit card will be automatically charged quarterly payments every 3 months.
International Shipping: If you are not a US or Canadian customer, you will be asked to pay shipping rates from Palestine. For one box it is 60USD and for 4 boxes it is 199USD.

The gift box includes crafts that are only available in this curated bundle and not for individual sale on our site. The value of each box will be around 160-200 USD while you pay as little as 119.95 per box.

When Will You Get The First Box?
You'll receive your box sometime in March, June, Sept and December.
If you subscribe to the Quarterly Box you will be billed in March for your second box that won't arrive until June, billed again in June for the third box that arrives in Sept and billed a last time in September for a final box that arrives in December.
What are the Options?
Choose a one time payment for a single box or a subscription of 4 boxes to be sent over 2024. If you choose the 4 boxes, your card will be automatically charged for the subscription renewal as you are signing up to send 4 boxes plus USPS shipping in 2025. By subscribing to this box, you'll help generate income for around 20 people per box.

What if I want to ship to a U.S. address?
You're in luck! Our products are actually stored in Oregon, so you're only charged for U.S. domestic shipping. Processing takes up to 6 business days on our side before our fulfillment guy in Oregon gets your package to the post office (don't worry, he's usually a lot faster than that!)
Domestic shipping takes 2-8 days depending on your shipping destination and the service you chose. Once orders ship, we'll email you a confirmation with tracking (for domestic) or customs (for international) numbers.
It is your responsibility to track and, if necessary, follow up with the shipping carrier to get your package or pay customs.
How much does it cost?
Shipping rates are automatically calculated at checkout based on product weight and then you can choose which service.
Sometimes your package might incur extra costs with Customs in your country depending on the value and type of items. Please note that we have nothing to do with these costs, and it depends on your country's customs. You are responsible for customs.

"The European Union is implementing new customs rules for online purchases from outside the EU. Did you make a purchase in a British, Chinese, American or another non-European webshop? You will pay VAT and import costs on all shipments that are delivered in Belgium (or any EU country) from 1 July, also on shipments of 22 euros or less."
Where else do we ship?
We ship via USPS and UPS which are available to most countries, let us know if your country is not included and we will add it.
Additionally, we offer international shipping* options from Palestine, in case you are interested in a handicraft that isn't available in our online collection or if you'd like to place a wholesale order.
What happens if I put the wrong shipping address or don't my package out of customs?
No problem. Once your item is sent back to us, we'll send it back out. We only ask you to cover shipping cost. You'll receive an automatic request for payment to buy the new label and then a tracking number once it posts.
What are the shipping options from Palestine?
DHL or Fedex: takes around a week to arrive.
I got an email notifying me that my package was delivered but I don't have it.
Please check with the carrier, ask your neighbors, check around your mailbox. Our inquiries have almost never helped us help you. Usually customers find it themselves. A last resort is getting the carrier to check GPS of where the carrier dropped the package. If you still can't find it after checking, please reach out by email at hello@handmadepalestine.com and share with us your order number. If the package is lost, we can file a claim 20 days after we've shipped to US addresses or 40 days after posting to international addresses. Once the claim is filed, we can replace your package.
I paid for international shipping and UPS / UPS hasn't delivered or is sending the package back to you.
Once we ship the package, it's completely out of our hands. You should check in on the carrier's website using the tracking or customs number we provided you. It is completely your responsibility to retrieve your package. If it's undeliverable, we can try to ship again or refund you only after it has been returned to us. The cost of additional shipping is your responsibility. Or in the case of a refund, we will refund the cost of the order, less the shipping.
Why did I pay more than the amount on the shipping label?
Please know that there are other costs before we get to your shipping. When you receive your package, you'll notice that the shipping cost on the box is not always the same as what you paid but the difference is minimal, and often we pay more for the shipping than you were billed. How quickly do you ship?
We usually take 2-3 business days to get your order processed and posted but our website system is set to allow us 6 business days. We have one fulfillment guy and some times he gets behind when a restocking comes in or at the holiday rush period. But he's pretty amazing and efficient.
Once he packs your order, you'll automatically receive an email. Please check your shipping address. You have 24 hours to notify us if you need it changed before we actually post it and you see movement on the tracking.
Once it's with the shipping carrier, orders inside the U.S. take from 2-8 days, depending on selected shipping method (which you choose after the checkout page, along with the shipping cost). We ship via USPS.
We also ship international orders, which take 14-21 days to arrive. Please note that additional customs cost might apply when your order arrives to your country, and it is your responsibility to cover any extra costs from customs. Also you need to keep your eye on your tracking because your local post will return the package after attempted, failed delivery. If that happens, it is not our responsibility. We will reship to you at your own cost once we receive the returned package.

How is shipping cost determined?
Based on the weight of your total order and the distance from our inventory which is in Portland, Oregon.
For international orders, shipping cost is usually $14-$40 for the USPS First Class International Packages. The cost varies depending on the weight as well. You can see more options below.

Why do you ship from the US?
We face a LOT of challenges as a small business under occupation in Palestine. One of those is shipping. So we've found that it's more reasonable for you financially and more secure, if we ship everything in bulk to our Fulfillment Space in the States and our favorite helper fulfills orders there.

6. Will you restock handicrafts that are currently out of stock?
We currently fulfill your orders from the U.S. We work on restocking handicrafts regularly but everything is handmade and takes time. Moreover, since Oct. 7, we really really struggle with sourcing raw materials and moving around Occupied Palestine. And if there’s an item that you are very interested in, you can now fill your email address on the page of that handicraft and you will receive an email once it's back in stock.
7. Do you offer wholesale?
Yes and thanks for asking. We want to get the work of our partner artisans to as many retailers out there as possible. This is our idea of creating a sustainable economy for the families who come from communities that are marginalized by the occupation or by severe economic circumstances, and mostly due to having the mother of family, being the sole provider. Do you ship internationally?
Yes we currently ship to 47 countries in North America, South America, Europe, North Africa and Asia. In case shipping to your country isn’t available, please notify us and we’ll try to add it to our list if our shipping service reaches there.
10. My order never arrived! What do I do?
Please email us with your order number and we'll look into it. We can file a claim with our shipping insurance 20 days after a US order was shipped and 40 days after an international order was shipped. We'll send you a link for the intended recipient to verify they did not receive the order and then we can re-ship or send you store credit--typically within 3 days of the verification.
11. My shipping address is wrong. What do I do?
Just email us the right address after you order. Even once we package your order and email you the tracking, you have 24 hours to notify us if you need it changed before we actually post it and you see movement on the tracking.
