Handcrafted Christmas ornaments and decor are handmade in Bethlehem, mostly by an amazing organization that works with people with disabilities. We also buy olive wood Christmas ornaments from traditional olive craftsmen.
Bethlehem was once a bustling city with pilgrims filling the streets of the Old City near the Church of Nativity. Today the city suffers under Israeli occupation. That’s why supporting artisans and cooperatives as well as great projects like Ma’an lil Hayyat is so important! They allow for income generation for people who have extremely limited opportunities. These products are really lovely and truly embody the spirit of the holidays!
