The Sunbird is a considered a national symbol in Palestine due to its rich presence  inside and around Palestine. Its a very small bird usually spotted on the light bushes of trees; especially the acacia tree. These awesome earrings are the outline of the Sunbird of Palestine, with a blue bead on top of the outlined ring.

The women artisans are from a small village just outside Jerusalem. They use small tools to hand cut sheets of brass to create their pieces; by women of the Beit Doqo Society outside of Jerusalem. Designed by a Haifa based jewelry designer, Amir Salameh.
