That’s why we share the stories of Palestinian heritage and craftsmanship, always tied to the land itself. This sacred and historic landscape has shaped the culture we honor today. In this spirit, we share glimpses of the blooming hills outside Ramallah at Mashjar Juthour, a testament to Palestine’s beauty and resilience.

A Landscape Rooted in History

Palestinian identity is deeply intertwined with the land, from its ancient olive groves to the wildflowers that mark each season. At Mashjar Juthour, our rewilding and conservation project, the hills come alive with native plants that have flourished for generations. These aren’t just flowers and trees—they are witnesses to history, standing resilient like the people who have cared for them.

What’s Blooming Now? 

Spring here transforms the hills into a tapestry of color. Among the blooms you’ll find:

🌸 Wild Anemones – Vibrant red petals, scattered across the hills like strokes of paint.🌺 Cyclamen – The delicate pink national flower of Palestine, thriving among the rocks.🌻 Southern Pink Daisy – A cheerful wildflower dotting the hillsides.                             🐝 Brown Bee Orchid – A fascinating wild orchid, named for its bee-like appearance.  🌿 Egyptian Campion – A delicate yet resilient flower of soft hues.                                  🌷 Pink Rock Rose (Cistus creticus) – A striking wildflower with paper-thin petals.      🌱 Common Henbit (Lamium amplexicaule) – A tiny yet vibrant purple flower.            🌾 Ground Pine (Ajuga chamaepitys) – Pine-scented leaves and yellow blossoms.        ☀️ Bulbous Dandelion (Leontodon tuberosus) – A sun-loving wildflower.                    🔵 Common Roman Squill (Bellevalia flexuosa) – A delicate blue flower.                      🍀 Helmet Clover (Trifolium clypeatum) – A unique clover with shield-like leaves.      🌿 English Thorny Burdock (Arctium minus) – A hardy plant with spiny burrs.            🌿 Jerusalem Spurge (Euphorbia hierosolymitana) – A striking green plant with yellow flowers.                                                                                                                            🌿 Palestine Comfrey (Symphytum brachycalyx) – A medicinal herb with bell-shaped flowers and deep green foliage.                                                                                              🌿 White Hedge Nettle (Prasium magus) – A delicate white-flowered plant.
