A Celebration of Falahi Culture & Our Eid Al Adha Sale
Palestinian culture has always been deeply connected to the land. At the heart of it is Falahi culture — the traditions of the peasant farmers who planted olive trees, harvested wheat, saved seeds, and cared for the earth for generations. These traditions shaped not only daily life, but Palestinian art, embroidery, food, and craft.
After the wheat harvest, straw was woven into baskets by hand. Dresses were embroidered with motifs of birds, trees, flowers, and wheat — symbols inspired by the villages, fields, and landscapes people called home. Every stitch and handmade piece carried a connection to the land and the generations before.
At Handmade Palestine, this heritage is at the centre of everything we do. Each embroidered piece, ceramic, and olive wood carving reflects the beauty of Palestinian craftsmanship and the stories carried through it.
This Eid Al Adha, we are celebrating the artisans and traditions that continue to keep Falahi culture alive.
