The olive tree is the oldest living symbol of Palestine. It fed families before there were nation states as it has been cultivated for millennia in Palestine. 

Our olive wood pieces are carved in Bethlehem by artisans whose workshops have been passed from father to child for generations. When olive trees are pruned — as they must be, to thrive — those branches become the material for this work. Nothing is wasted. The wood is dense, fragrant, and individual: no two pieces carry the same grain. You will find cooking utensils, serving bowls, honey dippers, cutting boards, coffee scoops and ma'amoul moulds — the wooden press used to shape the date-filled pastries made at Eid and Christmas across the Arab world.

Alongside the woodwork you will find Nablus olive oil soaps, made in the tradition of Nabulsi castile soap-making that is over a thousand years old. Our extra virgin olive oil comes from Shahed, a Palestinian farm pressing cold-extracted oil from rain-fed, traditionally cultivated trees. Our kitchen aprons and totes are designed by Qastina Designs, whose prints reference Palestinian recipes, the watermelon, and the key of return — the key Palestinians have carried in their pockets and hung on their walls since 1948, the literal key to the house they were forced to leave.
