Our New Logo + New Designs! 💚

At Handmade Palestine, celebrating Palestinian cultural heritage is at the heart of everything we do—and our new logo is a reflection of that.

From the seashores of historic Gaza to the hills of Ramallah, from the old city of Dahhariyya to the valley of Jericho and beyond, every town and village has its own story stitched into fabric. Palestinian women carried these stories with them—quite literally. At weddings or in markets, they would notice a new motif from another region, take out a small hidden piece of cloth from their qabba, and carefully recreate it. This is how tatreez evolved: shared, adapted, and passed from hand to hand, generation to generation.

It’s this incredible cultural and human biodiversity that inspired our new logo. Just like in tatreez, where one symbol can take many forms, we wanted to honour the richness, variation, and interconnectedness of Palestinian life—across both landscape and people.

Our work has always been about uplifting this beauty while holding space for a history that is ancient, meaningful, and deeply rooted in the land. A history that lives on through craft, memory, and everyday expression. Alongside our new look, we’re also introducing brand new designs to our tatreez collection—continuing this tradition in pieces made for today.
