This Palestinian keffiyeh features yellow thread embroidered on white fabric.  The intricate patterns woven throughout symbolize strength, resilience, and cultural identity.  The keffiyeh is lightweight and versatile, making it suitable for both casual wear and as a meaningful statement piece.  It can be styled in various ways - wrapped around the neck, draped over the shoulders, or worn on the head.  The blend of colors and traditional patterns makes this keffiyeh a striking accessory, perfect for expressing both cultural pride and contemporary fashion.

This traditional keffiyeh is made by a Palestinian factory that has its origins in Jericho before fleeing the 1948 Nakba and reopening in Jordan. It was among the first factories in Palestine in its day and has been making Palestinian keffiyehs for decades.

The keffiyeh has become an important symbol of Palestinian resistance. In the 30s it was worn, and embraced as an image, by the armed guerillas who prosecuted armed rebellion against the British occupiers of Palestine. Until that period, the keffiyeh had primarily marked its wearer as rural, as a peasant, Fallah, or a Bedouin.
