Giving Tuesday: Centering the Heart of the Season
As we enter Advent, we’re reminded that this season has always been about more than decorations, gifts, or festive noise. At its core, Advent is an invitation—an invitation to slow down, to reflect, and to remember why this story began in the first place.
Jesus was born in a little town called Bethlehem, under foreign military occupation. His life was defined by a relentless pursuit of justice, compassion, and solidarity with the marginalized. It is no coincidence that he was born here, in this place, in that moment in history. The story of Christmas begins in Palestine, and it continues to live on through the people who call this land home today.
This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to return to the roots of the season and hold space for its deeper meaning.
Walk Through Advent With Palestinian Christian Voices
If you celebrate Christmas, we encourage you to join our friends at Red Letter Christians for a powerful Advent journey guided by reflections from Palestinian Christians. These voices carry the weight of lived experience—faith formed in the place where the story began, and strengthened in the face of ongoing struggle.
You can sign up for their Advent reflections here:

Support Palestinian Women Artisans
If you believe in the work we’re doing—lifting up women artisans, preserving heritage crafts, and supporting families across Palestine—we would be deeply grateful for your support this Giving Tuesday.
Your contribution directly sustains the livelihoods of women who are keeping centuries-old traditions alive while providing for their families in extremely challenging circumstances.
Donate here to support our work with women artisans:
This season, may we all move with intention. May we remember where this story began. And may we choose to stand with justice, with compassion, and with Palestine.
