Red Botanical Art - Palestine Flower Print - Ranunculus asiaticus
Wildflowers of Palestine botanical art series features Palestine's beautiful wildflowers in watercolor.* Painted by Botanical Artist Lois Nakhleh.
The Ranunculus asiaticus (Turban Buttercup) displays the beautiful, fierce red of this protected wildflower. This wildflower is one of our 4 larger red spring flowers. It is the second to bloom in the red flowering sequence every spring. Often calling them all poppies, most people are unaware that all of these reds are actually different species.
Lois Nakhleh has been painting wildflowers of our region for the last 17 years, engaging watercolor as her painting medium of choice. To see full collection click here.
All profits from the sale of Wildflowers of Palestine botanical prints are used for wildflower conservation in Palestine at Mashjar Juthour.
